6.11.2010 & 7.11.2010  FARS Winter Solos Competition at Peterborough

Our skaters were very successful in this National Competition and the following medals were won:

Elementary / Prelim Solo Dance (Skaters March and Swing Foxtrot) - Harriet  Silver

Silver and Over Solo Dance (14 Step Plus and Rocker Foxtrot) - Douglas Gold,   James Bronze

OSP Prelim Medalist - Harriet Gold

Classic Masters Solo Dance over 40 yrs (Denver Shuffle and Rhythm Blues) - Lisa Gold

Trio Dance (Kilian and Blues) - Douglas James and Charlotte  Silver

Duo over 25's (Glide Waltz and Skaters March) - Lisa and Vienna (London & Essex Club)  Gold

Well done everyone !!!  Thank you to Vienna, who agreed to take Stephanie's place in the Duo over 25's event as Stephanie had an injured toe.


                                                                                                    
4.10.2010 to 10.10.2010  Cup of Europe

 We were very proud to have 4 of our skaters selected to join the British Artistic Roller Skating Team for the 'Cup of Europe' which was held in Scicily.  Douglas and James competed in the Youth Solo Dance event and performed the European Waltz and Keats Foxtrot. Douglas was in 6th place and James in 9th place.  Harriet and Annabel competed in the Mini Solo Dance event, skating the Glide Waltz and Carlos Tango. Harriet was placed 7th and Annabel 8th.  Well done all of you.

 18.9.2010 & 19.9.2010  

 Maidstone Opens Competition

 Maidstone RDC hosted an Inter Club Competition on 18 and 19 September at Maidstone Leisure Centre Mote Park.  Medway Roller Dance Club entered a Club Show entitled 'Kind 'a' Magic' with a routine to Queen Music, and won Bronze Medals for the entire Competition Squad.

20.6.2010 Invicta Open Competition

Medway skaters excelled in this Inter Club Competition held on Herne Bay Pier.  Medway RDC won the Invicta Shield, being 
the visiting Club with the most medal points.
