ROLLER SKATES

For Club Sessions, Roller Dance Skates, Roller Disco Skates, In-line Skates or Children's strap on skates can be worn.  The Club has a good supply of Roller Dance skates which can be hired for £2 per session / day, subject to availability.

Roller Dance Skates are needed when skating in lesson groups. They can be hired or purchased new or second hand.  You are advised to seek advice from coaches before buying skates.

Some second hand skates are available within the Club or can often be purchased at Inter Club competitions.  Prices range mostly from £30 to  £80 depending on quality. 

New skates can be purchased on line - see also links page with websites of suppliers. 

Inexpensive skates are available from Freesport on e-Bay (from £28) - these are suitable for Beginners. 

Reidell skates from Everglides website (www.everglides.co.uk) are good quality. The 'Angel' variety are the least expensive of the Reidell skates and are perfectly adequate for Beginners and Intermediate skaters. They cost from £100 to £125 depending on size and are made in sizes 1 to Adult 13. If Everglides do not have them in stock, they can be ordered from America but could take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive.

CLUB UNIFORM
Michelle Aburn will order Club Tracksuits, T Shirts etc in Club colours of Black, Red and White with Club badges.

SKATING DRESSES, SKIRTS, TROUSERS, LEOTARDS
These can be made to order by Jennifer Barker, so please discuss your requirements with her.
